Audi Treser Hunter

Audi tuner Treser did lots of crazy things to mundane Quattros. The oddest iteration has to be the Treser Hunter.

For the thirty to forty Arabian sheiks who loved falconry, Treser took Audi 80s, lifted them, shod them with Testarossa tires, and fitted them with three differential lockers. The customized suspension cost as much as a brand new ur-Quattro.

It was capable of climbing 36 degree slopes.

And fording small streams.

And it was quite a looker, in a Mad Max, post-apocalyptic kind of way.

More info here and here.
