Carspotting (37): 1956 Citroen Traction Avant

We had lunch at Le Garage in Sausalito today.  It's an outstanding little bistro in a mini-industrial park fronting a marina, a mile or so from downtown.  In fact, it's just a few buildings away from Vijay Mallya's car collection.  The restaurant's parking lot was sprinkled with interesting classic cars.  I have a hunch that this Citroen was imported and is owned by the bistro's owner.  It was not in the greatest shape but it looked very original.  It was very dark and cloudy, hence the poor lighting.

Nice. I saw a mint black Traction Avant complete with wicker basket on the rear being driven on the motorway on Saturday.

This was while I was a passenger in a DS pulling a trailer with my DS on the trailer. Must have been quite a sight.
