The best and worst Superbowl ads

The ads overall, again, have been disappointing.  Even the best ads were slightly above so-so.

The Best:
1. Careerbuilder chimp ad.  If this is the best ad of the game, it gives you a pretty good idea of how low the bar is.  But then again, who doesn't love chimps?

2. Kia Optima ad.  It's not just about the pretty lady.  The story is actually pretty sweet.  The bucking rhino and lumberjacks sawing the submarine sandwich are pure genius.

3. Acura NSX ad.  The story line was lame, but that car is out of this world.

The Worst:
Pete Hoekstra for U.S. Senate ad.  This little number, which played in certain Michigan markets, is straight out of Full Metal Jacket.  Is the actor in the ad that desperate for a gig?

Hoekstra is from the town I still work in, how embarassing. Complete Dbag local politician that tells them what they want to hear (cause they don't want to think)

From what I've seen on Youtube, the post-apocalyptic Chevy ad was my favorite.

@steve: What's Western Michigan's take on that ad?
