Good god! WANT. A DS remains on my top 5 dream cars, but as a connoisseur of everyday people cars from lands afar, a GS would be amazing.

@Ed: I was seriously thinking about buying this particular car for my wife when it was for sale a few years ago.

Today, it may or may not need new wheel bearings and axles.

I owned a GS Club 1220 station wagon when I lived in England for a year. Drove it all over Europe, a good little car. Even quite good off-road!

I own one, a GS Club break (estate.) The one in Eddinsmoto is a GS Pallas, top of the line model for GS.

In a not well treated condition, expect a 2CV with hydropneumatic mechanism. i.e., it won't stop unless it broke down. I haven't really experienced it in its top condition. Hopefully soon.

Classics will always need something all the time -- even ones that are kept in tip-top shape. That shouldn't scare you from buying one :-)
